The animation team helped make our week in June even better, especially Kenny, who was a great guy. The staff everywhere were so welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean, and the AC worked. There was tasty food with lots of variety and snacks available for most of the day. We liked having one bar by the pool and another on the beach, and the beach was clean and probably the most beautiful I’ve seen. Hotel guests could use the sunbeds for free. We loved staying here and loved Sal. I’m sure we’ll come back one day. Thanks for everything. P.S. 2 grogue and 2 cola please :))

Dinner was a great buffet. Everything was fresh, simple and delicious, and the ingredients seemed genuinely good quality. I had seafood salad with vegetables, grilled vegetables, boiled white fish, grilled fish and a little cold rice, then went back for a smaller second plate of the same. My husband enjoyed meat soup with pasta, beef, baked potatoes, couscous, cauliflower with cheese, red cabbage and corn salad, and a few slices of ham. For another taste he had pizza, fruit, salad and boiled fish. We both ate two portions, but the food still felt light. There was plenty to choose from, including ice cream, cakes, fruit, baked eggplant and spaghetti with sauces, plus wine and other alcohol if you wanted it. Breakfast, though, was the same each day and got boring. I found it hard to manage with my digestive problems, and there weren’t many vegetables or enough options for someone like me who eats a lot of vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free food. I asked about gluten-free, dairy-free cakes and they brought some, though they weren’t listed. There was no gluten-free bread, which was a shame, and eating the same things again and again was tiring. The staff could have smiled more, but we’d still recommend the place. 9/10.

The people here made our stay special. The manager worked hard all day and still greeted everyone with a smile. When our daughter was ill, he helped us prepare some home remedies. The animation staff were wonderful too, and helped us with babysitting. Restaurant food was the best and cleanest we had in Sal, and the rooms were spotless. The cleaning lady did a great job and is extremely pretty, she ought to be in a Hollywood movie or a famous model. Everyone was kind and helpful, and they helped without expecting a tip. Thanks from the heart!

The staff were nice, but our stay at Halos left us disappointed. The beds were so soft that I didn’t sleep well, and the pool water was very cold. The restaurant was almost always late to open, with the same sandwiches and biscuits for snacks and long queues for hot food. I also had diarrhea once after breakfast there. At night, the program was really noisy every evening and kept me from sleeping.
