The location is nice, close to the beach and some decent bars and restaurants, and I appreciated having a bidet and an independent apartment entrance. But the pest problem and lack of maintenance outweighed those positives. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and won’t return. I was put in room 7, a ground-floor one-bedroom with private access and a small garden. Cockroaches and mosquitoes were everywhere, and sleeping comfortably was impossible. Water containers left around the courtyard seemed to encourage mosquito breeding. The outside gate had a faulty latch, so wind made it swing and bang constantly. The bedroom window wouldn’t close, meaning I had to keep the blinds shut for safety and the room dark. Gaps around the windows let mosquitoes in even when they were closed. The room was visibly in disrepair, with paint peeling from the ceiling, mould patches and a kitchen that seemed held together by faith. I left before my planned departure after finding somewhere else to stay. The manager insisted I pay for all three nights despite the terrible experience, and didn’t even apologize. It made me think this is normal here. Check the videos and pictures if you can stomach them.
