The staff and management were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. From the terrace, I had a direct view of the sea. Surfzone is close to the heart of Santa Maria, with plenty of restaurants and places for entertainment nearby. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it anytime. Thanks for a good time in Sal.

Our flight was cancelled, leaving us stranded on Sal. Rod let us stay in one of his apartments a day at a time while we worked out a solution. He was very easygoing, and the apartment was cleaner than most five-star hotel rooms. Thank you.

The rooftop has a great sea view, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Restaurants, pubs, and the beach are all convenient to get to. Rod’s a cool guy, so take him out for a drink at one of the local bars. We had a great time at Surfzone. I’d definitely recommend it and will come again. Thanks, Carlos.

Rod had everything ready to make me feel at home when I arrived, and Sheena was extremely helpful getting things arranged for my journal before I even reached the island. I made friends for life at Surfzone, on the rooftop, at the beach, and during yoga. If you want a change in perspective, come here! Thank you, Sheena and Rod.
