The sea view from the room is a lovely way to wake up, and the beach is an easy walk away, with a good restaurant nearby. We booked at the last minute and the host was quick to respond and very helpful. The place feels thoughtfully minimal, with nice little details, and it’s in a quiet spot just outside Porto Novo. The Wi-Fi was incredibly good, the best we had in 2 mo in Cape Verde. We’d happily recommend it. All the best from us!

It’s close to Porto Novo but far enough away from the town noise. The people there were welcoming, and the facilities worked well for what I needed: I could do laundry and borrow a small kitchen to make lunches for my day trips, which often took me out in the middle of nowhere.

It’s in a really nice spot, and the owner was very nice too. The rooms are simple, which is fine for the price, but the place is run down. The shower needs a thorough cleaning, and the furniture was dirty and damaged.

The owner was kind and available with suggestions. The place has a nice atmosphere and a great view. Breakfast was quite generous by local standards, though some fresh fruit would have made it even better.
