Abaai Resort

Everything worked out perfectly for our two-week stay. Centrum Supermarket was just two minutes away, and Blue Bay, Kokomo, Porto Marie, and Draaibooi were all easy to get to.

Definitely deserves five stars. I'd highly recommend it.

We spent two weeks in the Lagun apartment and loved the peaceful garden, full of beautiful birds. I especially liked watching hummingbirds while having breakfast. The apartment was spacious and had air conditioning, and the pool made Abaai Resort a relaxing place to stay. Getting around was easy too: the airport took about 15 minutes by car, the supermarket five, and the closest beach six. The owners were lovely and helpful, including with arranging excursions. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

We loved our stays at Abaai so much that we've already booked twice and plan to return next year. It has a warm, cozy feel without being crowded, and the pool is shared with only a few other people. The outdoor kitchen was a treat too. Naomi, Nick, and Jack made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Naomi helped whenever we had a question or needed something like fresh towels, and could even arrange an airport pickup. Jack was happy to show us the turtles, while Nick gave us restaurant suggestions around the island that were well worth trying. Our rooms were spacious and had an authentic feel. The location in charming Julianadorp was handy for Willemstad and Otro Banda, as well as nearby beaches including our favorite, Blue Bay, Kokomo Beach, and Pirate Bay. You can also arrange a rental car through Abaai, which you'll need on the island, or have them organize a trip to Klein Curaçao. We fell in love with the island and really enjoyed our time at Abaai.
