My Dream Apartments

The northwest coast near Lagun is a great choice if you’re after quiet, beaches, and amazing snorkeling, including swimming with turtles. My Dream Apartments was a perfect base for us, perched twelve meters above the sea. There’s a ladder straight down into the water for anyone brave enough to use it, and beaches and restaurants are close by. We watched wonderful sunsets and saw frigate birds, dolphins, and tuna chasing dinner. The friendly host went out of his way to make things easy. A rental car is a good idea, though people do manage quite well on the buses. We’ve already returned once and hope to come back soon.

Such a happy place on the happy island. I loved staying here, right by the sea, with comfortable rooms and kind owners.

The owners and their family were very accommodating, and we’d definitely recommend My Dream Apartments. We spent our first few days in Mountain View, then moved to the second-floor Ocean View for nine days. In my opinion, the price difference for an Ocean View apartment is worth it. The porch faces the ocean, the bedroom AC works great, and the kitchen is decent. It’s a relaxing base on the island’s west side, near many of the best snorkeling beaches. There’s a long, steep ladder down to the ocean, where we saw lots of fish. Dolphins swam by, fish jumped near the balcony, and the sunsets were great too. We hope to stay again.

This was our fourth stay at My Dream Apartments, and we enjoyed it as much as the first. The weather is reliably warm, the view and location are lovely, and the owners and atmosphere make it feel special. The apartments aren’t luxurious, but they’re spacious and have what you need.
