Whitehouse Lagun Apartments

Susanne made us feel very welcome, with drinks on arrival, help arranging our trip to Klein Curaçao, and fresh fish caught by the neighbours. We loved being able to get straight into the sea from the apartment, and the water colour was beautiful. There were iguanas right outside too, more than we'd seen even in the national park! The sea views were spectacular. The balcony had a hammock and sun loungers, and we appreciated having air conditioning. It was a great base by car for exploring the west of the island, with lovely beaches and national park hikes nearby. We had a lovely stay, thank you so much!

It was easy to check in and out, and we felt safe in the complex. Though the apartment is in a small village, it didn't feel remote or deserted like some others we'd seen. Buses pass the complex, there are a few mini stores nearby, and there's a restaurant at Lagoon beach. The location is also close to some of Curacao's best beaches, with good snorkeling right in front of the house via a staircase. The balcony views were magnificent, especially with the sun setting right in front of the complex. We loved grilling there at sunset. Inside, the kitchen had dishes and cutlery in top-notch condition, plus spices, oil, and vinegar. The bedrooms had good A/C and comfortable beds, the shower had hot water, and the Wi-Fi handled video streaming on different devices at once. The apartment had what we needed. Thanks, Susanne, we'll be back!

The host was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and made sure we had what we needed. We enjoyed snorkeling and swimming at two beautiful beaches just a short walk away. Whitehouse Lugan Apartment C was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, especially the kitchen. We also appreciated the free parking for our rental car. The peaceful, safe neighbourhood was ideal for a relaxing vacation. Every evening we ate on the balcony, watching spectacular ocean sunsets, and the refreshing breeze kept the apartment pleasantly cool at night. Over our 10-night stay, we felt completely relaxed and unwound. We thoroughly enjoyed it, especially that stunning ocean view from the balcony. We highly recommend Whitehouse Lugan to anyone visiting Curaçao.

The owner was very attentive, and you can rent a car through her. The apartment was comfortable, and I would 100% recommend it. From the balcony, you can watch the sun set straight ahead over the brilliant turquoise sea. A staircase goes down the ravine to the water.
