The gardens at Curacao Gardens Hotel were the first thing that made the place feel like a little paradise. They’re lush and well kept, and made it easy to relax. The restaurant, "maira's kitchen ", served delicious local food, so we didn’t have to go far to eat. There’s free high-speed internet, a pool for cooling off after exploring, and free parking that made it easy to visit nearby attractions at our own pace. The BBQ facilities in the gardens were a nice extra too. There were options for getting out and doing things, including bicycle rentals and diving, and airport transportation made arrival and departure easy. Our house was spacious and had what I needed, including air conditioning, a seating area, a kitchenette with a coffee/tea maker, a walk-in shower, and cable TV. The shower felt spa-like, and the TV was handy during downtime. Curacao Gardens Hotel had a good balance of quiet relaxation and activities. I’d recommend it for a peaceful stay in a lovely setting, and I can’t wait to return.

Paula was a wonderful host and even provided five-star concierge service. We had a great stay, and breakfast at Maira was always great. The only issue was the front room: it didn’t have real windows, so with the outside temperature it wasn’t really usable. The rest of the apartment was completely fine.

We rented a car through their contact, and it worked out great. Having the car handed over right in front of the hotel was really handy. The place is within walking distance of the centre, with lovely people running it and a cosy restaurant across the road serving very good food at reasonable prices. The sleeping rooms have air conditioning, and the apartments have fans. Opening the classic windows also helps with the heat. Bring mosquito protection. I can’t find anything to criticize. The apartment was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a surprisingly quiet and private feel despite there being several apartments. The location was great, and the owners were really nice and caring. Simply awesome!

We felt so comfortable that we stayed here twice during the same vacation. Eric (the owner) is warm and clearly cares about his guests’ well-being. The resort rooms seemed well above the island’s standard, and the location in the colorful Kaya Kaya district was fantastic. A beautiful place in the heart of Willemstad. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
