Delynne Boutique Hotel

My flight was canceled because of an airspace shutdown, something no one could control, but my experience with Delynne Boutique Hotel after that was awful. The staff showed no sympathy and refused any refund or accommodation. For a place calling itself a boutique hotel, that felt like a complete lack of customer care, with profit put ahead of guests dealing with a stressful situation. The lack of flexibility and empathy was shocking. Think twice before booking here. Delynne Boutique Hotel clearly doesn’t value customers when things go wrong. Save your money and sanity, there are much better options.

The apartment itself was clean, and the pool always looked beautiful and was kept clean too. Housekeeping came every two or three days. The cabinets smelled musty, and the kitchen didn’t have many utensils. The owners were great to contact, replying quickly and making sure we had what we needed. A decent stay overall.

We liked the swimming pool, and the bus stop right outside made it easy to get to the centrum. Breakfast was fine, as long as you don’t expect too much: bread, juice, coffee, and a few things to put on the bread. A couple of times we came by around 8:10, and once at 8:20, but breakfast was still closed.

The Delynne felt peaceful even though it’s fairly close to Willemstad center, and the central location made it easy to explore the island in every direction on our own. We arrived exhausted and left feeling refreshed. The property welcomes guests from all over the world, and the staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and friendly, with real care for the place and guests’ comfort. The accommodations were clean and had enough equipment to make meals if you wanted. It’s a special gem on Curaçao. If you want a Sandals or Club Med style resort that caters to every whim, this probably isn’t for you. But for somewhere to rest, relax, and recharge, it’s a great fit. We’ll return and highly recommend the Delynne.
