It’s comfy and nice, with that home away from home feeling.

The apartments are very well kept and the location is exceptional, with great value for money in Curaçao. We stayed in a huge one, with a roomy bedroom and air conditioning. The bathroom was small but clean and really functional, and the shower was great. There’s no hot water, but in Curaçao’s climate it didn’t matter at all, maybe the opposite. Andrea, the host, is lovely, attentive and helpful, and gave us great tips. She keeps everything organized and is available if you need anything. They have several apartment options. I’ll be back soon and stay there again.

The hostess was very friendly and punctual, and the kitchen was a plus. It had dishes, utensils, dish soap, a useful refrigerator and fantastic air conditioning. The living room in two of the apartments was functional, though one sofa needs to be replaced urgently. The soap was extremely diluted with water, so they’d be better off not providing it. But we rented three apartments and the photos did not match what we found. The building is old, dirty and needs maintenance. There was a sewer smell, family-sized cockroaches, and bathrooms that were dirty and smelled of ammonia. The black towels were disappointing, the old sheets felt sticky and seemed not to be washed often, and the mattress sagged. The pillows were so worn and shriveled that putting your face on them was disgusting. The cot was a hard board, not comfortable at all. The drain trap needs to be covered to stop the sewer smell. It’s cheap, but that doesn’t excuse the poor quality. Book early and you can definitely find somewhere much better. I wouldn’t go back.
