ONE Mambo by Bocobay

The unit at One Mambo Bocobay was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Reception staff were kind and helpful, and we had a great stay. Mambo Bay is a busy area, with loud music and DJs on a few nights each week that stop abruptly at midnight. It didn’t bother us, but it’s something to keep in mind if you want a quieter atmosphere. I’d recommend it and would stay again if I return to Curacao.

The location is right on the beach, with breathtaking views and sunsets that make you stop and take them in. Restaurants, bars, and shops are all an easy walk away. ONE Mambo by Bocobay also has a coded gate that lets in guests, which made the property feel very safe and gave me peace of mind. The apartments are modern, spotless, and thoughtfully set up. Mine had a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, cold AC, and exceptionally clean floors, bathrooms, and bedding. There are different apartment sizes for solo travelers, friends, or bigger groups. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were welcoming and kind. As someone who travels often, I can say this was one of my best stays. It had quiet, relaxing vibes, great views, and the comforts of home. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

We had loud music and DJs from several beach clubs late at night, which could disrupt things if you’re sitting outside. With the patio doors closed, though, the apartment felt fairly insulated, and we’d definitely return. The place is new and modern, with ocean views, large kitchens and bathrooms, outdoor seating, and a decent sized pool with shallow areas our toddler enjoyed. The kitchen was well stocked, and they provided a crib and high chair for our infant. Staff communicated well online before, during, and after our stay. We could get in late after our plane arrived outside office hours. There’s free locked garage parking, and Mambo Beach with lots of dining options is within walking distance. There are apartment options from two to five bedrooms.

We were six adults in a three-bedroom unit for a week and had a wonderful stay. The location in the heart of Mambo Beach was hard to beat, with restaurants, shops, and excursion points nearby. There’s a lovely pool right outside and a private path straight to the beach, so it’s easy to stay local. The unit had everything we needed for a home away from home. Our host checked in after the first day, and Melissa and Giovanni, the property managers, were friendly, responsive, and very helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will return to this same property next time we’re in Curaçao.
