We picked this hotel for four nights because we were attending a wedding there, which made it convenient. The communal spaces were nicely kept, the pools were a comfortable temperature, and we could always find a lounger. The grounds looked lovely, with greenery and flowers, and the sea and promenade are right nearby, leading to shops and cafes. Staff were pleasant, though we didn’t interact with them much. There was live music by the pool over the weekend; having some background music during the week too would be a nice touch. Our room was functional and had the little things we needed, but it felt dated. We were on the main road side, and the street racers revving their engines late into the night were so loud that even closed balcony doors didn’t let us sleep. That isn’t the hotel’s fault, but better sound insulation in those rooms might help. Breakfast was below average, with very little fresh fruit, mostly apples and oranges, and tinned peaches and pineapples. The selection was exactly the same each day, which felt poor for a four-star hotel. Bar drinks were also massively overpriced.

The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, some of the best we’ve had in a long time despite travelling a lot. Rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff very helpful. We didn’t try the outdoor pools, but they looked good. The location makes a great base for seeing the island, with the promenade and beach right there and public transport, shops and restaurants close by. I’d pay extra for a sea-view room. Breakfast was very basic. If it weren’t for the made-to-order omelets, I don’t think there’d have been anything for me, and I’m not picky. The indoor pool is tiny.

The hotel is right by the beach, and the rooms were clean, okay, and recently renovated. Breakfast had a decent range of food, but not having a coffee machine was baffling. You had to ask the staff for coffee, which got irritating. How does a hotel not have a coffee machine? It was an okay stay, but the price didn’t feel justified. For the same money, you could stay in a six-star hotel in Dubai, so it wasn’t good value.

The room was spotless and quiet, with an amazing view that made the stay feel relaxing and special. The staff made the experience, especially Narumol at the SPA, who was professional and caring, Yamlal at the bar, whose mojitos were the best we’ve ever had, Denise from guest relations, so kind and attentive, and Najim and Manon at reception, who were welcoming and helpful. Their hospitality made the stay unforgettable. We’d love to return.

Choosing this hotel was a great decision. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, and the rooms and whole property were clean and well organized. We loved the food, everything we tried was delicious. It was my birthday on our second day, and the hotel surprised me with a thoughtful gesture. I was really touched and happy. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
