For two nights we had no electricity, chargers or air conditioning, in the hot, dry summer weather, and I felt exhausted. The issue started on our first night. Customer service didn’t respond, and after we contacted Booking too, there was still no response. The next day we were told it would be fixed, but the second night passed with no repair. The apartment staff showed no interest and said they didn’t care. The place was very dirty, with no cleaning during the stay despite a cleaning fee paid at booking. The sheets smelled dirty and the towels smelled so bad they weren’t fit to use. I also didn’t feel it was safe, as there was no security for entering or leaving. If you want to enjoy Cyprus, don’t book here for your comfort or safety.

Apartment 104 was in poor shape: dirty carpets, creased curtains, windows that wouldn’t shut properly, a cracked TV, broken sunbeds and no pool umbrellas. The kitchenware was in terrible condition, insects were everywhere, and there was visible mold and mildew on the walls. That’s unacceptable for holiday accommodation. We stayed in mid-June, and the air conditioning kept tripping the breaker, so we couldn’t use it on hot days. We reported it several times through online support, but nothing happened. Booking.com’s response claimed they were working on it, though Bader Alali’s recent review says the problem had gone unfixed for weeks. That makes their reply seem dishonest. I wouldn’t recommend the place unless they make major improvements to maintenance and honesty with guests.

The apartment was new, spacious and well equipped, with a comfortable bed, washing machine, dishwasher and a large terrace. There’s free parking in front and a small, nice pool, though we didn’t use it in January. Being close to the highway makes getting around quick by car, but it’s far from the center, so a car is a must. The hot water took 40 minutes to come through for a shower, and I didn’t like the bathroom curtain. An apartment like this should have glass shower doors. There weren’t any hangers for jackets or clothes anywhere.

We were told check-in was at 4, but when we arrived right on time, we had to wait outside until 4:30 while the cleaners finished. The apartment looked fairly clean and didn’t smell, though bugs and insects were in nearly every corner and along the walls. The house rules were over the top, especially the decibel meter. We were told that reaching 80 dB for 5-10 minutes would bring security, a fine and immediate removal from the property. There were four of us, two couples, and we couldn’t relax enough to talk with music on or play board games. We were constantly on edge. All the rules and threats of fines really spoiled the mood and the stay.
