Palmonte Suites Hotel

We drove for about three hours and arrived at the official check in time expecting to rest, but our first room wasn’t ready. They showed us a second room that wasn’t available either, and we were left waiting without clear information about when a proper room would be ready. We ended up having to leave for a restaurant, which we hadn’t planned, because there was nowhere ready for us to stay. Later, the shower hose was damaged and leaked water everywhere, making the bathroom hard to use. Breakfast was also underwhelming in both quality and variety. The staff were polite and tried to help, but the overall stay fell short of our expectations and of basic hotel standards.

We won’t return, and I can’t recommend it. We paid extra for a room “with a sea view,” but it wasn’t worth it. We were told the items left outside the fridge were free to use, then charged for them at checkout. It was only 3 euros, but we felt the charge was mean, especially since we believe it was their mistake. We were already unhappy with the location, the incredible noise from the heating, and the rather mediocre breakfast. That checkout charge was the last straw.

The restaurant food was excellent, with a varied menu, beautifully presented dishes, and fresh local ingredients. We also loved the peaceful pool area, kept in lovely condition, and the spa felt like a calm retreat. The treatments were wonderful, and the therapists were attentive and skilled. At Palmonte, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had stunning views. Plush robes and quality toiletries added a little extra comfort. The hotel sits amid beautiful scenery, and we left feeling refreshed. Highly recommend Palmonte Hotel & Spa for a relaxing break.

A real pleasure to stay here. The owners and staff go out of their way to keep guests happy, and the food is great. Service is always excellent and comes with a smile. A big thank you to everyone. ❤️🌹
