Villa Thermopilon

Being close to the airport and an easy trip from Nicosia, Nissi Beach, and Ayia Napa made the villa’s location great. We had such a lovely week there that leaving Cyprus brought tears to our eyes. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was very well looked after. Mr. Phanos was especially kind, friendly, and helpful, with great suggestions for beautiful beaches and interesting places around the island. It was an enchanting stay, and we can’t wait to return. I arrived in Cyprus as an overworked tourist and left feeling relaxed. Panos, your mansion is a masterpiece, and I was really impressed. After ten years working in hospitality, I’ve never seen a hotel with a million stars like yours. Google only lets me give you five of the many stars you deserve. Efcharisto for everything, my friend. Panos is such a great host and a very cool guy. The little pool was lovely for relaxing away from the busy city. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Cyprus.

I had a good stay, especially because of the hospitality and service. The AC was powerful and cooled the room well, and the cats were a plus. The room was quaint, though some refurbishment could make the stay better. The property has wear and tear that gives it character, but it could use some TLC. The location suits spending most of the day by the pool more than touring the city. It’s fairly isolated, and public transport makes getting around difficult. There’s a lot of walking, and bus 417 toward Aradippou runs very sporadically. Having a car would solve that, but exploring on foot as a tourist is harder. I communicated some suggestions for improvements, and the host didn’t receive them favourably. In response, I got a defamatory message with degrading language. The way I was treated after the stay left a lot to be desired too. I’d suggest this place for groups or couples, but I don’t recommend it for a Black solo female traveller.
