The buffet had a generous range of fresh, tasty choices, including traditional dishes, and was great value. We left happy and full, already thinking about coming back. It’s a cozy, welcoming restaurant where we could relax over a meal, and the staff were kind, attentive, and glad to help. We had a lovely time.

We had the owners’ rose Shiraz, an easy-drinking, lovely wine. They make it themselves, and it’s the only brand on offer. The €65/pp set menu included vegetable soup, salad, rib eye steak, lemon cheesecake, and mascarpone chocolate for dessert. The meal was a 10/10, and the service couldn’t have been better. I haven’t been this pleasantly surprised in years. Congratulations to the whole team of Pernia.

Askas is a picturesque semi-mountainous village, and we had a memorable stay at Perneia rooms thanks to Konstantinos and Charis. We took a walk around the village, then sat outside the restaurant watching the sunset before enjoying a wonderful dinner at Perneia. Try their own wines, Rose, White & Red, and zivania too.

We tried their own wine brand, which was decent and went nicely with the meal. The setting at Pernia in Askas is beautiful and welcoming, and the service stayed friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients and clear attention to detail. A memorable meal in the area, highly recommended.

We came by for lunch with family and found a pleasant atmosphere. The self-serve buffet had fantastic souvla, freshly cooked, and the stifafo was especially good. Unless you’re local, you probably wouldn’t know this place was here.
