We rented an apartment for a longer stay in the middle of a Cypriot village. It’s about a 20-minute drive to Polis. Peaceful and quiet, with beautiful, magnificent views and friendly people.

We’ve stayed in this area, between Agia Marina and Pomos, three times around this time of year, and of the three houses we’ve tried, A&G was the best. This time we had a three-bedroom townhouse for 11 nights from late September into early October. Some neighbors walked to the closest beach for a swim, but we drove to Pomos or Latchi depending on the wind. For food stops, there’s a bakery on the main road in Agia Marina with great bread and baclava, and a butcher in Pomos. Lisa's place is our favorite taverna around here.
