That terrace view over the sea and sunset, the mountains, and Ayia Marina is stunning. You can hear the waves, cicadas, and birds too. The studio was spotless when we arrived, with the air conditioning already on, which was a lovely touch, along with the welcome treats. For two people, we had everything we needed for a week, including an efficient air conditioner, big fridge, coffee machine, and washing machine. We needed that last one because our luggage got stuck in our home country and we had to buy new clothes. We gave it five stars plus. It’s a great fit if you want to relax and aren’t looking for big hotel complexes packed with people and parties. Be open minded about small details that don’t really matter here, and don’t expect a week’s stay to cost the same as one night in a luxury hotel while offering exactly the same standard. I’d recommend renting a car or motorbike to get around to the nice beaches, small villages, and restaurants. Definitely recommended!

We booked the rooftop apartment. It’s on the small side, but it has what you need, and the balcony is a lovely place to spend the evening. The area is quiet and good for relaxing, though there isn’t much tourism, especially in the off season. The host is really kind and happy to help with everything.

Mr Zacharias was so accommodating when we turned up at the last minute without a booking, with four small dogs in tow. The house was really clean and had lots of amenities, including tea and coffee facilities and filtered drinking water. It’s just a stone’s throw from the beach. A perfect getaway!

The location was perfect, and I loved the personal touches throughout. The apartment was great, with an awesome view and everything you might need. The owner was super nice and helpful, and communicating with him before we arrived was easy. It was honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!
