The pool is the centerpiece, a stunning 2,500 sqm space with the Hidra Pool Bar, and day-pass guests can use it too. For couples, the private villas with pools and dreamy aioras feel especially romantic. Aya Resort Ayia Napa is adults-only, with Mykonos-inspired style, whitewashed walls, natural wood, and lush greenery. It’s the most luxurious and romantic resort I’ve experienced in Cyprus, a serene haven. Service was flawless. Buggies take you around, staff anticipate what you need, and the mood is all about relaxing. The food was exceptional, especially the sushi by the pool, the best I’ve ever had. Sundays bring international DJs for chic poolside vibes, and there’ll soon be a wedding chapel. For couples, celebrations, or anyone after sacred summer moments in Cyprus, Aya Resort Ayia Napa feels like a destination in itself.

The hotel itself was amazing, and I really enjoyed my stay, but the restaurant experience was unacceptable. I asked for my steak, the most expensive dish on the menu, to be cooked medium. It arrived extremely overdone and far too salty, with almost no pink in the middle and a nearly all-grey interior. I order medium steaks regularly, and I’ve never been served one this overcooked while being told it was medium. When I complained, the staff said they had checked it with a special device and insisted it was medium. Whatever the device said, the steak on the plate was clearly overcooked. They offered to make another, but said I’d have to pay for an extra portion. That’s outrageous when the mistake was entirely theirs. A very disappointing restaurant experience at an otherwise wonderful hotel.

Aya Summer Club pool added a 10% discretionary service charge, though nowhere on the menu did it say there’d be one. We’d gladly have left a tip without this. After spending so much building the place, how can they rely on cheap tricks that catch people off guard with an extra 10% on the bill? It felt pathetic. Because of this, never again.

Everything about my visit to Aya Resort in Ayia Napa was great. The management has clearly done a fantastic job creating a welcoming, well-organized atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Service was excellent from start to finish. I had an amazing experience and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!
