Christabelle Hotel Apartments

Apart from the lovely woman at reception and the location, this stay wrecked my holiday. I changed my flight and went home early because I couldn’t take any more. The young barman treated me terribly. Breakfast was included in my booking, and I had the same thing each day, a cappuccino, orange juice, and eggs on toast. Don’t book with breakfast. Monday through Wednesday, the cappuccino with breakfast was free, but on Thursday I was suddenly charged £4:50. On Friday he chased me down by the pool and said, “I think you forgot to pay.” I was mortified and embarrassed, and paid another £4:50 even though I’d already paid for breakfast when booking. I was travelling alone and had had enough. I didn’t care that getting home meant taking a plane, bus, and train to collect my car, since I’d flown into a different airport. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s the worst place I’ve stayed, and it completely ruined my holiday.

A good spot for everyone, with great shopping and plenty of nearby shops, bars, and restaurants. There’s entertainment close by, including some at the bar, and food too. The swimming pool is a great size 🏊‍♂️👌😀👍

The pool bar food was decent, and the guy working there was really friendly and easygoing. There's also a nice late-night snack place nearby, along with the bar street. The cleaning, though, was poor: over 14 days they only took out the rubbish, with no floor or table cleaning and no kitchen cleaning or sheet changes. Towels and toilet paper were supplied plenty. Air conditioning costs 8-9 euros a night for each room, so using it in both the bedroom and living room comes to 15-16 euros a night. In those very hot rooms, you pretty much need it.

You still have to check out by 12 pm even if you arrive late, or they charge 10 euros for every extra hour. Air conditioning also costs extra. The half-board menu is limited to exactly what’s shown in the photo, no more and no less. I wouldn’t bother with either half board or breakfast only. The short-haired older man from the bar was arrogant and miserable. Sorry, I can’t recommend it.
