Florence Hotel Apartments

One of the owners, an older man in particular, behaved in an extremely rude and unprofessional way. I felt uncomfortable and even threatened during my visit, which is completely unacceptable. A very disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone expecting respectful, courteous service.

The bathroom was old and worn, with no cold water and weak pressure. The trash wasn't taken out every day, as far as I remember, and when staff came in to clean, they didn't lock the door. The beds were uncomfortable, the kitchen light didn't work, and the fridge and freezer didn't work properly. Our accommodation also didn't look like the pictures. There was a broken terrace chair that nearly caused an accident. The pool looked cleaner than it really was and left yellow stains on our swimwear. We had no internet in all rooms, which I find unacceptable for the price and the 21st century. The pool was initially open until 9pm, then the hours changed to 8pm. One evening we were told to leave much earlier so the area could be cleaned, even though cleaning should happen after closing, especially after the hours were cut. Some things might have been better in the nicer rooms, such as a newer bathroom and more comfortable double beds, and I believe the newer rooms have those. But the pool cleanliness, lack of cold water, weak bathroom pressure, missed trash collection, and unlocked door would probably still be issues. With this many problems, it shouldn't cost more than 40e per night.

The room was crawling with ants, and when we raised it with the woman, she threatened to call the police for no reason. We also had a visitor, and she barged into our room without anyone's permission and started complaining. The air conditioning cost extra and barely worked. Possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in.

The location was good, the terrace was big, and the woman who cleaned the apartments was very pleasant. But our apartment had uncomfortable beds, loud traffic, and an air conditioner that didn't work. We also had to leave a deposit for a second key, among other things.
