Gaia Sun N Blue Hotel

The staff were the highlight for me. They were so friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and a warm hello. The location was convenient too, central to shops and restaurants, with a quick walk to the beaches and a bus stop just across the street. Our stay was perfect, with nice, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend.

Check your room number. Rooms 001 to 015 have a view of the neighboring building's wall. The location is good, near the excellent Pantachou beach, though not in the city center. Breakfast was good too. Service wasn't: the curly-haired girl at reception was annoying. The pool was nice, and the pool bar had affordable prices and good taste.

The friendly, helpful reception staff and other employees left a good impression. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and my room was clean too, with towels replaced regularly. I did notice mold traces in the shower tray, and the toilet looked only superficially cleaned when I first arrived. I stayed on the fourth floor and had a nice sea view from the left side of Gaia Sun & Blue Hotel when viewed from the street. There was sometimes a strange ammonia-like smell on the balcony, which I couldn't identify. It may have come from nearby hotels. Ayia Napa's central location made it easy to explore in different directions, and the hotel had a nice view. The food was generally good, though not very varied. I had breakfast and dinner on half board, but drinks at dinner had to be bought separately. Overall, I had a good experience.

The place felt gloomy and lifeless, and we regretted trusting the good reviews. It was a waste of money. The coffee at breakfast was awful, and the bed was old and far too soft. Towels looked worn and grey, and the sheets often had old blood marks or other stains. The windows also did little to block noise or smoke drifting over from other balconies.
