The food was a real highlight for us. We booked B&B so we could try the fresh fish at their seaside tavern, cooked beautifully by a wonderful chef. Sitting by the water at sunset with the catch of the day was pure bliss. The welcome was warm everywhere, and the friendly, attentive staff made us feel at home. We first stayed in April and loved it so much we booked again straight away for October. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully kept, with a comfortable bed, modern bathroom, and lovely balcony. It's a true hidden gem for unwinding. We can't recommend it enough and are already looking forward to coming back.

Rapahels Restaurant was excellent, with classic Cypriot dishes made in vegan versions. Even my non-vegan boyfriend was impressed, and we went back the next day. They kindly gave me vegan butter for the bread with the starters, and it was delicious. I'd highly recommend Rapahels Restaurant. At the hotel restaurants, vegan choices were very limited. There was a vegan quinoa burger, but regular mayonnaise was set beside it, so I wasn't sure whether the salad dressing was vegan either. I could have asked, of course, but sometimes that's inconvenient. It would make sense to offer full vegan dishes. I would have loved tofu at breakfast and in the restaurants, perhaps in a wrap or other dishes. It's inexpensive, filling for guests, and easy for chefs to prepare. Before we arrived, I emailed to ask about vegan food. The advertised vegan buffet area in the main buffet turned out to be a gluten-free corner with cornflakes and no vegan cold cuts. Bread and desserts had signs showing whether they contained milk or eggs, but a clear vegan logo would have helped more. Plant-based milk was available, while other requests meant asking the staff. Sometimes they didn't seem clear on the difference between vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Preet was a wonderful exception. She was attentive and proactive, recognized me on our second day, and made sure I got soy yogurt each morning. When I asked another staff member, she noticed and stepped in. She deserves a promotion and is a great example of customer service. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff were generally friendly, especially Preet, the spa lady, and the ladies at the towel station. The beach is beautiful, though the nearby beaches have clearer water. There is more room for sunbeds here, and thankfully there were only a few children, even though we usually choose adults-only hotels. I loved the cats and hope they're cared for in winter, and I really liked the art details around the hotel.

The fish restaurant was excellent, and the lunch and meat restaurant was very good too. Cocktails were great, and the buffet breakfast had everything you could want, with plenty for everyone. The hotel was wonderful, luxurious, very clean, and had massive beds. We found reserving sunbeds fine: do it on the first day, then upgrade as people leave. It's Aiya Napa, so you know what to expect from the busy beach. It was relaxing, and thanks for looking after our son when he got back at 4am. The lovely doorman deserves the credit for that.

The location is beautiful, but the service and management fell well short of what we expected, and the price and reputation weren't justified. I chose Grecian Bay expecting a five-star stay, but the cleanliness also wasn't at that level. Both our room and the shared areas felt neglected and lacked the attention to detail you'd expect from a luxury hotel. Although we were hotel guests with reserved sunbeds, staff kept letting outside visitors in, charging them directly on the beach and giving them priority. We were even told to give up our reserved loungers to make room for non-guests. Completely unacceptable for a five-star hotel. A disappointing stay.

The sunbed reservation system was a real plus and made mornings much more relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and very generous, and the housekeeping lady was always smiling and helpful. We had a beautiful room with a full sea view, room 301. The front desk manager was professional and attentive, but the rest of the reception team came across as quite arrogant, which was disappointing and surprising in those roles. When we arrived after a full day of travel, they gave us the wrong room and insisted it was correct. Our sea-view room had been given to other guests, and we could only move into it the next day. For a hotel claiming five stars, we were also surprised there was no table service at all, not even for coffee. It was a good experience overall, but to me this is a good four-star hotel, not a true five-star, or at best a local five-star standard.
