The villa itself was nice and well kept, but the grill was disappointing. There are signs warning about fines if guests leave rubbish or fail to clean the grill. I understand some people make a mess, but applying the same warning to everyone feels unprofessional. Getting around without your own transport means relying on taxis. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away, though it isn't especially attractive and has no lifeguard. We were stung by jellyfish, so I wouldn't recommend swimming there. I also wouldn't wear a white swimsuit in the pool: ours turned yellow and the washing machine couldn't get it clean. Pool maintenance seemed infrequent, and the water may not have been looked after properly.

We left after our second night. The first night, cockroaches crawled over us while we were asleep, and there was a lot of pigeon droppings around. When we reported the insects, we were told there were lots of them everywhere. The neighbors told us they had poisoned theirs and had no cockroaches, and said people often leave these places after 1-2 days. The landlady was extremely rude, and sorting out any problem seemed impossible. They delayed our refund for several days, then deducted it from the rent. I've travelled a lot, but I've never been treated this way before: rudeness, arrogance and threats, with what they say not matching what happens. Don't waste your money.
