Margadina Hotel

Breakfast had an above-average selection, and the pool was decent. My only complaint was that the spa and gym were open just 10-18h. They were listed as amenities on Booking, but if you go to the beach, those hours make them hard to use. I’m not sure what the point is. It would be better if they opened at 9h so you could visit the spa before breakfast, or if breakfast ran until 10:30 or 11. :D

The cleanliness was unbelievable, you could eat off the floor, and the communal areas smelled amazing. There’s also free parking, and Adolf, the lovely friendly cat who lives by the hotel door, is always there. Don’t forget a little present for him :D We’ve just come back from our honeymoon at Margadina, and it was a lovely surprise that exceeded our expectations. The hotel is in a quiet part of Ayia Napa, yet walking distance from the busy area’s restaurants and nightlife, with several supermarkets nearby. Our room was great and extremely clean. The WiFi signal in the room was the only downside, but we didn’t mind much since we wanted to disconnect from the real world. All the staff we met were friendly and cordial. We got a welcome drink and an upgrade for our honeymoon. Breakfast had the usual four-star selection with plenty of options. The indoor and outdoor pools looked wonderful, though we didn’t use them because we spent our days at the local beaches. We had proper cocktails at the bar one evening, with live music and a professional bartender. Would we return? Definitely yes. Well done, Margadina. Keep it up.

We loved the Mexican night, and dinner felt like a little world tour, with different dishes every evening. The staff were all so nice and friendly, and the room had a pool view. Everything was super clean. It was my first stay at Margadina and a perfect experience. The hotel is close to the beach, Ayia Napa center, shops, and markets, so it has everything you need. Thank you, I’ll definitely come back ☀️

I’d come back for sure, but I’m giving it 4 stars because I had to request the invoice several times. I also had to ask repeatedly for an iron with a steaming option for my linen shirts. Breakfast was repetitive, basically the same every day, and most choices were very oily or greasy. There aren’t many options if you’re traveling with a child.
