Myriama Apartments

The air conditioning costs an extra 50 euros for the week, which I'd never come across before. On top of that, the nearby nightclubs made it impossible to sleep at night.

The location is right in the center and close to a club, which is handy for going out but gets noisy at night. Our first room hadn't been cleaned properly after the previous guests, with dirt on the mirror and floor. The furniture was dated, and the bathroom had a strange smell. Air conditioning also costs extra and has to be paid for in cash.

The location was convenient for the beach and clubs, but the noise at night was a lot. Inside, the place didn't look like the photos. It wasn't clean, and most of the furniture was very old, apart from the beds. Our balcony door wouldn't close, which made us feel unsafe, and we found a cockroach in the room. We were told air conditioning was included in the price, then charged €8.50 a day for it when we arrived. The boss's wife was very rude to us. Reception closes around 7-8 pm, so there's no staff to help if you need anything after 8. The door giving access to all the apartments stays open all night, and with nobody there overnight, the risk of being robbed feels high.

The location was okay, but a loud night club is very close and the rooms barely block sound. We heard people in the hallways every morning. In apartment 10, the furniture was outdated, and there was only a small TV, fridge, and couch. The bathroom was okay, though the water pressure was always low. My towel had a faint mark that looked like it might have been blood, and there were ants in the room, so don't leave food out. The A/C cost 58€ on top of what I already felt was a steep price. The owner promised to bring a small electric stovetop but never did. We left the trash bin outside our door hoping it would be emptied. It was, but no new bag was put in. At this price, I think you can find better accommodation in Ayia Napa.
