Our room was wrong when we arrived at midnight, and it was above the bar with music blasting until 2.30 in the morning. There were dried-up sandwiches in the fridge, and reception staff were having a swearing match with a colleague. Not the start to a holiday we wanted. The hotel manager arranged the right room the next day. Once settled, the staff were friendly enough, but the bar staff didn't seem to know who was next to be served. They brought little drinks around the pool in the morning, but the tray always ran out before it reached us. Sunbed towels were already being put out at 6.30, so be warned. The pool area itself is good and fresh towels are available. The gym is genuinely good. I wouldn't spend money on the Swedish massage, though, as mine wasn't very good. The all-inclusive food was okayish for what you'd expect. I'd rather have a few dishes done well than mass catering trying to please everyone. There are three exclusive restaurants attached to the hotel. The Japanese was best, with the Italian close behind. Central cafe was awful: food came out rushed and cold, with poor service. At all three, they seemed to want you in and gone, without checking whether the food was good or if you wanted more drinks. If you get a room away from the main hotel, you won't hear the main strip, assuming you get the right room in the first place. We booked with Jet2holidays, and our hotel rep was useless at the start. It was an experience, to say the least.

The pool is lovely, but sunbed hogging is a real problem. People claim beds early in the morning and then don't use them, and there's nobody supervising the pool to sort it out. The hotel is near restaurants and bars, and close to the pier, though Nissi beach is a long way off. Breakfast was very good. Rooms have been renovated. There are hardly any elevators, so anyone who has trouble walking should check on that.

The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, breakfast good, and the location is amazing. Staff were friendly too. Still, sleep is the main thing I want from a holiday, and that was impossible here. Nearby clubs were extremely loud, with live music by the pool going until 1am. I won't book again because it was just too noisy.

The hotel itself was surprisingly peaceful, with no street noise, and we were very happy with the pool and service. We were two middle-aged couples who had originally booked somewhere else. Eighteen days before the trip we heard there'd be construction outside that hotel, so we were offered Napa Plaza instead. It cost more, but we're all glad we switched. The beds were the most comfortable any of us have had in a hotel. The air conditioning worked brilliantly, which mattered because nighttime temperatures rarely fell below 29°. It was quiet enough to leave running overnight. We were lucky to get upgraded to a pool-view room. I'd pay a little extra for one. There was plenty of storage and a balcony rail for drying swimwear. My only suggestion is a separate shower, since getting in and out of the bath was a bit tricky for someone my age. There were loads of sunbeds, and we never struggled to find one. Fresh, thick towels were provided daily, and plenty of parasols gave shade even for the toughest sun worshippers. It was over 30° every day. With the hotel being adults-only, there's no shallow end taking up the pool, so there's lots of room to swim or relax. Staff regularly brought iced juice shots and cold flannels around, and helped move loungers and parasols. The pool bar made great cocktails, and we usually had lunch there too: burgers, omelettes, fish, pizza, salads, and sandwiches. We were all-inclusive, with three evenings at each of the hotel's speciality restaurants and three at the themed buffet. The buffet was so good that we only ate at one of the other restaurants and stuck with it for the rest of our stay. All the staff were lovely. Special thanks to Jasmine, who treated us like old friends and always remembered Debbie, Julie, Mr Greg, and Mr Phil. Managers were often around checking on things. At breakfast, a woman in a dark blue dress with a badge chatted with guests, and we think she was the assistant manager, though we didn't catch her name. Hotel manager Andra was very helpful, and we appreciated her sitting for coffee with us when she must have been busy. I took one star off for the location. It's right in the middle of the nightlife area and the evening crowds outside were horrendous. The hotel was calm inside, but we won't stay again because of the location. That's no reflection on the hotel itself, which was wonderful.

Napa Plaza Hotel was a lovely choice for our anniversary week. It’s adults-only, which made for a peaceful couples' break. We were welcomed with complimentary champagne in the room, and housekeeping left the towels arranged beautifully with rose petals on the bed each morning. The staff really went the extra mile. Our room was spacious, with a large balcony where we could unwind in the evenings. The outdoor pool was beautiful, the gym well-equipped, and the spa relaxing. Breakfast on the bed and breakfast package had a wide selection, and we could have a glass of champagne with it, a nice touch. The location is right in the heart of Ayia Napa, surrounded by restaurants and nightlife, and the beach is about a five-minute walk. Cape Greco is also only a five-minute drive away and well worth a visit. From the food and room to the genuinely friendly staff, we were delighted with the stay and would recommend it to couples after a peaceful, luxurious escape.
