Napa Suites Hotel

The rooftop pool has a nice view, and you can pay to use it without booking a room. The hotel itself is very modern and new, and the rooms were cleaned every day. Still, one stay was enough for me. We paid 589euro for 3 nights, and I don't feel it was worth it. The description said our superior double room was 27m2, which wasn't true, unless the balcony was included. It felt misleading on purpose. Breakfast was good but exactly the same every day during our 3 nights, with no variety at all. There were 2 Chef's, at least from what I saw, so I don't understand why they didn't add some variety. The tablet in the room didn't work, though we didn't report it since it wasn't adding much to our stay. The bathroom could use more hangers. The hotel feels more like a boutique hotel than a 4 stars one, and I don't think it qualifies for 4 stars. At the roundabout where it's located, there are no pedestrian crossings, so we always had to run across. That's not nice, especially since cars drive on the right side and it was confusing. The rooms only had Type G sockets. Other 4 stars hotel usually have at least 2 normal sockets too, and I couldn't find this detail in the room descriptions. Luckily, the mini market next to the hotel had adapters, but that was disappointing too. Our stay was average good, not terrific but not terrible. There's room for improvement.

The basics made this stay fall far below expectations. There was a persistent sewage smell in the room, unbearable whenever the window was shut, so we had to leave it open all the time. I don't know if that's just a ground-floor problem or happens elsewhere too. The hotel is also around 25 minutes on foot from the beach, with an uphill walk on the way back. The rooftop and décor may be what some guests notice, but to me the unnecessary switches and colored lighting give a false high-tech impression. The air quality, comfort, and location were seriously lacking. I honestly can't understand its high ratings online.

My stay felt like the best 24 hours for relaxing, and I'm looking forward to coming back soon. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the hotel was so clean and modern, with facilities clearly meant to help you feel at ease. They succeeded. The location is very good, and there's everything you need to relax. Dinner was better than I expected, breakfast was absolutely satisfying, and everything was fresh. As a Cypriot, I loved that almost everyone, if not everyone, speaks Greek and makes you feel welcome.

The rooms are small but manageable, and I still had a good experience here. Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, and a great view from the roof.
