Okeanos Beach Boutique Hotel

The food was delicious, honestly hard to imagine it being better. It was easy to overeat! We were also just a minute’s walk from a good beach, close to the port and near the city center. The staff were VERY friendly. A special thank you to Mihaela, the best receptionist I’ve ever met.

The location is good, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and the beach in front is quite nice despite the rocks. Walk a little farther and there’s a spot where you can get into the water without rocks. There are very few sunbeds owned by the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the rooms felt old and weren’t clean enough. Breakfast had plenty of options but the quality was low, with mostly industrial products and hardly any fresh fruit. In summer, it’s a shame there were just apples and bananas in a country with such good local seasonal fruit. This didn’t feel like a boutique hotel at all. The only design touch was the little sitting area in the lobby; the rest was standard, cheap furniture. I’d call it a solid 3-star hotel charging 4-star prices, and I wouldn’t come back.

The food was so varied that literally everyone could find something they liked, and our rooms were spotless. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, ready to meet every need. The location was the best, right in the town center but still very peaceful. We were a bit sceptical about what we’d get because a travel agent recommended the place, but it turned out to be more than we expected. It’s a really good 4-star hotel. My husband and I enjoyed every day and had a perfect holiday. I’d happily recommend it and will definitely try to visit again.

For an off-season stay at this price, we had no complaints and plenty of praise for the staff, who were always smiling and happy. The location was great, and breakfast was more than adequate, with a good range of hot and cold food that changed daily. It’s a nice new property, though I wouldn’t call it a true 4-star hotel. Service was exceptional throughout. The rooms are simple but clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of power outlets. The bathroom is modern, with a rain shower and lots of hot water.
