The location made it easy to get to everything, with the strip and its bars, restaurants and nightlife just a short walk away. There were events and entertainment during our stay, so the atmosphere was lively. The staff were incredibly friendly and always glad to help. We had an amazing stay at Pambos Napa Rocks Hotel and can't wait to return. Would definitely recommend it.
We booked four weeks at Napa Rocks Pampos Hotel for last summer, in May. We knew it was a budget place and only wanted a base for going out and enjoying the summer, so basic accommodation was fine. What happened made the trip miserable. In our second week, we came back one evening and couldn't open our door from outside because the inside latch had been pushed down. We had to force it. It looked as if someone had entered from the balcony, put the latch down from inside and left us unable to get in. Once inside, we found both our phones, my MacBook and my laptop had been stolen. It was shocking to realise someone had been in our room while we were out. The hotel's response was deeply unhelpful, with little concern, urgency or support. We were also told there was no CCTV anywhere on the property. In our view, that's a massive red flag for a hotel with so many tourists. We were promised a different room after the burglary, but the move never happened. The theft and the poor response left us stressed and upset, and our insurance didn't cover everything, so we had to replace expensive belongings ourselves. The incident ruined the rest of the holiday. Later, a door lock jammed completely and trapped us inside. We had to climb over a neighbour's balcony to get out. That's unsafe as well as inconvenient. There were other problems throughout the stay. The shower water was almost always cold, even after a long day or night out. The air conditioning seemed broken when we arrived because the controls didn't work. We then found out we had to rent a separate remote for €20 per day, a charge that wasn't made clear at booking and seemed ridiculous in summer temperatures. The lock incident and the broken-in room made us feel even less safe. It became unbearable, and we booked flights home earlier than planned, which cost an absolute bomb!!! This was a budget hotel, but basic safety should never be optional. Between the theft, lack of security, staff's poor response, cold showers, the extra air-con charge and unsafe doors and locks, the whole experience was frustrating and disappointing. Nobody expects their room to be broken into and their belongings taken. I'd rather pay more for a place that takes guest safety seriously. This completely ruined what should have been an amazing summer holiday. I STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!! ⚠️
I rarely leave bad reviews, but people should know how awful this stay was. The rooms and hallways were filthy, with rubbish and stains left around. We found cockroaches in the room, and the doors had broken frames and looked as if they had been forced before, which made us feel unsafe. Water was unreliable. Some days there was no running water at all; when there was, we often couldn't get cold water, so showering properly was nearly impossible. The pool area was chaotic, with drunk guests and some who seemed to be under the influence of substances. Parties carried on into the early morning and kept us from sleeping. The air conditioning was broken, yet the hotel tried to charge €10 per day to use it. It felt like a complete scam. This place was dirty, noisy, unsafe and poorly managed, with basic facilities lacking and hygiene issues throughout. It wasn't worth the money and ruined our holiday. I'd strongly advise avoiding it.
It's a convenient place to stay, but when I checked out, reception wouldn't return the deposit I'd paid for the safe. The receptionist said the manager had it and wasn't in on Sunday.
This was the worst accommodation I've ever stayed in. It was filthy enough to make me worry about getting sick, with ants and other insects everywhere. The bed and wardrobes were in terrible shape, and the bathroom was dreadful. The noise was unbearable, worse than anything I've experienced. At reception they asked us for money as a guarantee that we wouldn't damage the room or our ID/passport. They said some English tourists had held a party and wrecked the place, claiming that's how they “have fun.” But why should we be punished by having to sleep in such miserable conditions? This place should be shut down immediately. It's beyond unacceptable. I have more video that Im not able to share.
