The staff were a real plus, always smiling, professional, and helpful at reception and in the restaurant. The food there was consistently very good, with generous portions, a decent choice, and attentive service even when it was busy. We had lunch and dinner there several times, and the relaxed atmosphere was nice. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide choice from hot dishes to fresh fruit and pastries. It was satisfying and well prepared, especially for a 3-star hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, adequately equipped, and well maintained, with housekeeping doing a good job each day. River Rock Hotel is also conveniently placed within walking distance of the beach, shops, and plenty of restaurants. For its category, it offers good value, and I'd recommend it for a comfortable stay with good service and food.

The shower water flow was the one thing we weren't happy with, though it may have just been our room. We did have somewhere to shower, so it wasn't a problem. On our last day, with a night flight after checkout, Petra kindly said we could come back for a shower and use towels and soap. She welcomed us at reception with a big smile and helped with everything we asked. Breakfast was great and had lots of choices. All the staff were great too. Thanks so much to Petra and the team!

I feel at home here. The hotel is good value and so well placed for the harbour, shops, restaurants, and bus route in Ayia Napa. The staff are brilliant, friendly, helpful, and well trained to look after guests. They took care of all my needs.

The team really made our holiday. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from the cleaners to the waiters, and they deserve more credit, maybe even a pay rise. Petra at reception, the evening bar manager, and the woman cleaning near the pool were all amazing. The fresh breakfast was very nice, and so were the staff. We also had the buffet dinner one night and enjoyed it. The cocktails and smoothies are great too. The pool was lovely, and the cabana beds were comfy and free to use. The hotel was very clean and in a great spot, close to the fun but far enough away to get a good night's sleep. There were families and younger groups, and it worked well for both. I'm in my 30s and was pleasantly surprised, as the hotel seems to get overlooked because it doesn't have many reviews. A couple of things could be better: some chilled music at breakfast might make the early mornings easier, and the bar area is very hot, so it could use more air conditioning for the staff. Still, what a great hotel and location.

We had a lovely time at River Rock Hotel. The restaurant served delicious food, and our room was spacious and very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and ready to help. The location is excellent, with the beach, city centre, and main attractions nearby, plus bus stops close by. Highly recommend it for a memorable stay.
