We asked for all our money back because we hadn't unpacked or used the room at all. After making us wait about an hour, the hotel returned the €8 air conditioning charge but offered only half the room cost. We had to find somewhere else at the last minute, adding stress, inconvenience and expense. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, and when I asked for a manager or a contact number, nobody was available and no details were given. The reason we left was obvious as soon as we walked in. The whole room, including the fridge and bathroom, smelled awful, and there was dirt, cobwebs and broken beds. The door wouldn't close properly, a serious concern with Ayia Napa's club street right outside and drunk people constantly passing by. As three young women travelling alone, we didn't feel safe. We'd seen a neighboring room in much better condition, but were told there were no rooms available. We also asked about moving to their sister beachfront hotel and were told that was full too. My friends and I had booked and paid for two nights on arrival, plus €8 for air conditioning. Within five minutes of entering, we went straight back to reception to ask to be moved. The unacceptable room conditions were bad enough, but the lack of professionalism and fair help made the experience even worse. I rarely write negative reviews, but this was one of my worst hotel stays. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We spent nearly three hours on a balcony looking for somewhere else to stay because the smell in the apartment was unbearable. We finally found another place and left right away. A receptionist even came to ask what we planned to do and told us to hurry because it was getting late, while we were already stuck without accommodation. My two friends and I, all under 20, had booked two nights. We hadn't stayed or used anything and left immediately after seeing the place, but our request for a full refund was refused. The explanation was that they could have sold the room to someone else. We went to Simos Beach Hotel, which has the same owners, and the staff there were more helpful. They eventually offered part of the money back, plus the air conditioning fee. On arrival at the apartment, we were also asked for another €8 for air conditioning for just one night, which already seemed ridiculous. The smell hit us as soon as we opened the door and got worse as we went in. The beds were damaged and seemed about to fall apart; the bathroom and fridge smelled awful, and the wardrobe had a strange smell and cobwebs. The photos don't show how disgusting it really was. The door wouldn't lock properly either. We were three young women alone in an area full of clubs and people drunk late at night, so what security did that offer? We went straight to reception, asked for another room, and were told the place was fully booked. When I asked for a manager or someone responsible, I got attitude and was told they couldn't give out personal phone numbers. Apparently no manager was available to speak with guests about serious complaints. I honestly wondered how a place with that smell could legally host people. Between the filth, damaged facilities, security issue and poor service, this was one of the worst places I've stayed. I'd give it zero stars if I could. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they were desperate and had no other choice.

We had no hot water, the rooms were dirty, and there was no real quality to speak of. The shower screens were broken, with pieces of cloth screwed on to stop water flooding the bathroom. Loud parties took place on the street beside the property. It all worked just as it looked, which is to say, not at all. We reported everything to the manager, who said he'd come check but never showed up. The receptionist said she could confirm the problem, then refused to put it in writing. The same issues were in neighboring rooms too. We weren't refunded for the days we didn't stay. If you want to avoid trouble, stay far away.

We had no hot water for two days. Staff just told us to wait for it to come back. The manager refused to move us or refund our money when we wanted to leave after the first night, saying we'd chosen the room and she wasn't interested in the other problems, as if we'd known about them when booking. The room was filthy and dusty, with cigarette butts and a strong mold smell. I even saw a cockroach walking across the table. We put up with the club next door playing music at full volume until 3 am, the bass making the furniture vibrate. But two mornings in a row, we were woken at 9 by drilling from repairs in the neighboring room. They didn't seem to care that we were staying there and might want to sleep.

Sure, it's loud, and the rooms could use freshening up, but the service was so good. The maids cleaned and changed the sheets every day. You get what you pay for, and then some. I'm very happy with this place!
