Sunny Blue Hotel

The staff were friendly and polite, and the room's design, spacious interior and terrace were nice. The terrace view added something pleasant to the stay. Parking was available, and the internet was fast and worked throughout the property. Several things brought the experience down. The bed was sold as a double but was actually two singles pushed together, which was uncomfortable. Breakfast tasted good but was exactly the same every day and needed more variety. The pool water being released made a loud, disruptive noise, especially at night. Towels were meant to be changed every three days, but that policy wasn't followed. There was visible dust around the room and common areas, and on two occasions the bed wasn't made, which isn't acceptable for a hotel in this category. The air conditioning was noisy too, and we couldn't properly adjust either the temperature or fan speed. The room, view and staff had their good points, but cleanliness and service standards need serious improvement.

The room was calm, and the hotel was clean with friendly staff. Breakfast was basic but tasty, though I missed having butter for the bread since there was only margarine and spread. With an early checkout, the owner kindly offered tea or coffee and sandwiches to take along, which was a lovely gesture. A couple of minor things: the hand soap was only supplied in a small amount on arrival and wasn't replenished after I used it that day. I also saw a few little ants by the closet one evening. Otherwise, I had a good stay and would recommend it.

The pool and surrounding area were very clean, and we liked how peaceful the hotel was. Our room was decent, with a sea view, and breakfast was very good. The staff were lovely, always around, friendly, and spoke several languages, so it was easy to communicate. The nearest beach is a short, pleasant walk away, and sometimes we took the bus to a farther beach and walked back. The housekeeping could be better: we had to wipe coffee stains off the terrace table and chairs ourselves. The toilet seat was clean, but the base of the bowl had visible marks. Hygiene didn't quite meet my expectations.

The team made this place feel like a family B&B, with the comfort of a boutique hotel. Their warmth and kindness stood out from the moment we arrived. I booked at the last minute and was so glad I did. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the pool is great, and the included breakfast was very good. I loved every minute here and would definitely choose it again. 🩵
