We spent five days at Thalassa Beach Resort for a winter break with our two children. Watching the sunrise and spending time at the beach made it a wonderful holiday. It was quiet and peaceful, with mostly families and kids staying there. The resort had the facilities we needed, including pools, a children's play area, a gym, and a small canteen. There weren't any restaurants nearby, though, so we had to travel some distance for food, a supermarket, or a pharmacy. We still enjoyed our stay very much.

It's a small, uncrowded hotel beside what we think is the best beach in Paphos, with private sunbeds on the beach and plenty more around the pool. The sea views from the peninsula are breathtaking, and the elevated setting gives the place a special atmosphere. Some people might find it a little dated, but we loved it that way. The furnishings and fixtures help create an elegant, classy, relaxing feel. I could happily sit on the lobby veranda with a drink, taking in the view and atmosphere. We had a minor check-in problem, but management fixed it straight away and went far beyond what we expected. The staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling, making eye contact, and asking how you were, which is rare to find in Cyprus. For us, it's one of the best hotels on the island.
