Mc Palace Hotel

We arrived expecting basic respect and hospitality, but left feeling shocked and humiliated. Staff were rude and dismissive throughout, and our family felt we were treated in a discriminatory way. At breakfast, a waiter told one of our children to get water from the toilet. It was disgusting, upsetting and completely unprofessional. When I raised it with the owner, he said we were lying and could never prove it. This wasn’t just one unpleasant exchange: several staff members came across as hostile and careless. There was no empathy or accountability, only arrogance. I’d strongly advise families, or anyone expecting decent customer service, to stay elsewhere.

The evening meal was the biggest letdown: it was dull, lukewarm at best, and seemed aimed mostly at Turkish guests, with hardly any European food. The hotel itself is modern and recently built, with a lavish lobby, good-sized rooms, strong air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and plenty of bed and wardrobe space. There’s a large adult pool, a smaller children’s pool, and evening entertainment on some nights. Breakfast was good, though it could have used some bacon. The corridors connecting the rooms were noisy, with doors banging from early morning and cleaning staff making a lot of noise. Don’t expect a quiet morning either, cleaners knocked on our door at 08:00, even on Sunday.

It’s a very nice hotel with good facilities. Breakfast can get busy, and the kitchen sometimes struggles to keep up. Luckily, our waitress Nurcan looked after us wonderfully and made sure we got what we needed.

We had an event here and the service was too slow. The appetizers were awful, uncooked and bland. For dinner they brought us chicken stuffed with rice, but it was cold and bland too. The live music was so loud it felt like it was blowing out our ears. Honestly, the whole thing was horrific, and those plastic chairs were really uncomfortable.
