The food was the highlight for us. Everything was delicious, and there was excellent vegetarian food, with good options for vegans, pescatarians and people eating lactose-free or gluten-free. It’s the best hotel food we’ve ever had. Their self-baked treats are also well worth trying, and I’d recommend half-board. We visited in the low season, when prices were much lower and it was very quiet. WellClub has opened recently and is still doing a lot of renovation work, but it’s modern and beautifully designed. The service was perfect. Everyone tried to make our stay enjoyable, and they were lovely to chat with and made us feel comfortable. If you want to do something good for body and mind, this is the place.

We were there as a couple with two kids, and the hotel and rooms looked stunning. The service was warm and welcoming, and its central location put us close to everything. We really enjoyed the stay and would come back with our extended family. A few things could be better. The meals were fairly modest, with too few choices for children, including drinks, spreads and salads. Our room oven didn’t work, and after a contractor drilled into the bathroom wall above the sink, there was a lot of dust left on the counter. At breakfast one morning, we were told there’d be face painting that evening. Our daughter was excited and looking forward to it, but when we arrived, we were told it was canceled and maybe would happen tomorrow. Children’s activities need more care and consistency, and guests should be told when plans change. These are small things that could and should be improved.

We had a very positive stay as two guests. The staff were excellent, smiling as they handled every request. Stella deserves a special mention for her outstanding help. Breakfast was the only meal we booked, and it was a highlight: delicious, healthy, varied and plentiful. We also loved the stunning upper pool, though having bar service up there would make it even better. The taxi company used by the hotel was less reliable than we’d like, and delays happened too often. The hotel is new, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops over the next year. It’s already a highly positive experience with great potential.

The food was good and healthy, and the hotel was very friendly for kids, with activities like yoga and face painting. It’s recently renovated, and most people speak English. A few room service employees don’t, but they were nice in general. The hotel manager, cristos, was a great guy and made the stay feel like we were with family.
