Blue Sea Karpasia Hotel

The rooms and terrace have beautiful views, and the rooms feel cozy and comfortable. There’s a little fishermen’s harbour beside the hotel and not much else around it, which suits anyone after a quiet break away from the big resorts. It’s only a few minutes’ drive from Dipkarpaz. The owner was friendly and helpful, the staff were great, and dinner was probably the best we had in the North. We stayed in late december, outside the main season, and I’d count this among the North’s best hotels if you want to avoid the large resorts.

Brand new rooms, great service, and a really nice setting. It’s a perfect choice for an isolated holiday, as long as you’re happy to rent a car and drive at least an hour each way.

The food was excellent and the staff were amazing. I really loved this quiet, peaceful hotel on the coast at the edge of karpasia. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here.

The breakfast was fabulous, with fried eggs, chips, bread, salad, cheese, and a choice of coffee or tea. We were welcomed warmly, and the customer service was great. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was the best I’ve ever used. Those huge pillows, though, were slippery and very uncomfortable. There were a couple of frustrating problems. Booking.com said clothes drying racks were provided, but staff told us they didn’t have any. Our booking also listed checkout at 12:30pm, yet reception asked us to leave by 12pm and insisted even after we pointed out the listing. With premium prices, being told to leave before the stated checkout time really irritated us and spoiled the end of an otherwise lovely stay. We’ll see if we return.
