Club Aphrodite

I’ve been living at Aphrodite Club for over a year and can’t imagine moving elsewhere. Mrs. Maria at reception is there whenever you need something, and she’s helped get any issues sorted quickly. Thanks to Mrs. Maria, Mrs. Aresti and Mr. Michaelis for making my stay comfortable and pleasant. The apartments are clean and fully furnished, with clean laundry, a great gym, a pool that’s always clean, and tidy roads. The place is quiet, the neighbours are nice, and prices are reasonable. Everything is kept in good order.

The spacious room was dated and had poor, basic facilities. The bed and pillows weren’t great either. Reception didn’t make me feel very welcome, and the instructions were unclear. The pool is beautiful and the balcony has lovely views, but the stay as a whole felt depressing. The bar and restaurant have been closed for some time. Reception said they’re run separately and couldn’t say whether they’ll reopen, so it feels like staying in a shut-down place. The location is remote, and you’ll need to bring things with you and drive to get anywhere. There’s no real fitness centre, just a small room with few things in it. It’s very outdated, and the sauna was shut. The facilities being advertised don’t match what’s available. The pavements around the hotel are battered and broken, which looks awful and feels unsafe. Someone needs to put effort into rescuing the place and making it pleasant and welcoming.

It’s a lovely setting, with a nice pool and a beautiful garden around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with an interesting vintage look, and the air conditioning works well. The downside is how isolated it is, far from everything, and the restaurant isn’t always open.

There are lots of cats wandering around, and you’ll need a car since this is a residential area, away from shops and restaurants except for the restaurant on site. The reception desk closes after 16:00, though the staff are friendly. Our apartment was very clean and roomy, with a living room and kitchen plus a separate bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped, and the big balcony was lovely, with a nice sea view. The pool was clean and had plenty of sunbeds, and there was parking on site.
