I’m here for an extended stay, and the respect shown to guests and the focus on cleanliness stood out right away. Requests are handled promptly. For monthly stays, bed linens are changed weekly, rooms are cleaned daily, and there’s a thorough cleaning each morning. The facilities include a TV room, study tables, and a balcony to relax on. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, and the apartment is in one of the best parts of Girne, so getting around is easy.

The host is very friendly, and check-in was quick and smooth. Lockers come with padlocks, and there’s street parking. The rooms, WiFi, and location are all good, though my room was a bit hot. My main issue was that the toilet and washroom floors stayed wet during my stay because of a leak, and management didn’t do anything about it.

The bed curtain only covers half the bed. On my first visit it was really cold without air conditioning, then on the second it was too hot, which was a hassle. The dishwashing liquid they provide is so poor that it doesn’t clean the kitchen items at all, and the other dish soap was poor too.

The dorms are roomy and clean, the internet works fine, and everyone we met was friendly. Staff speak English, either as a first or second language. My friend and I arrived late from the capital after staying in a few other hostels, and for the price and quality, this is probably the best one on the island. It suits backpackers, digital nomads, students, and tourists wanting a clean budget stay. Eggs and fruit are included in the price, which was a nice surprise, and the kitchen has pans, pots, toasters, and a clean microwave, so you can cook what you like. Getting in was the weak spot: there weren’t clear doorbell instructions, and arriving late, it took us 15 minutes to get inside. You can climb in through the balcony. I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family.
