We stayed at Karia Plus City Apartments in Kyrenia (Girne) in June 2023, and the panoramic views from our spacious apartment made the visit especially memorable. It’s easy to see why the place has such a strong reputation: Booking.com awarded it “World’s Most Loved Hotel” in 2020 based on guest reviews, and its rating is 9.8 out of 10. Everything seemed thoughtfully arranged for comfort and convenience. A luxurious, comfortable place to stay in Kyrenia, and one I’d highly recommend.

The host was nice and the price was good, but we left disappointed. We actually went home a day early because the air conditioning units were filthy inside, and we developed coughs and sore throats. The bathroom tiles had dirt and scum on them, and the walls, windows, and balcony glass all needed a proper clean. The apartments also need repainting, and the bathroom needs redoing. The beds were very hard too. The photos show lovely bedding and cushions, but that wasn’t what we found.

We were warmly greeted by the Owner and his wife, who was really friendly. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely feel to it. It was also very well maintained. We had a great stay and would happily come back. Thanks for being such a nice host.

The apartment had everything guests would need, and the location was great for the very reasonable price. What stood out first, though, was how welcoming Mr. Ethem and his team were. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

There are a few nice places to eat nearby, and the old town is about a 20-minute walk away. The apartment had everything we needed, though the shower was the one letdown.
