Manolya Hotel

I booked through booking. Com, but the hotel looked nothing like the photos online. The reception staff were very friendly when we arrived, but that was the only good part. The smell was awful, and the rooms, stairs, lift, and restaurant were all very dirty. There was urine on the toilet seat, ants everywhere, and broken furniture. I asked to change rooms as soon as we checked in. Staff showed me more options, but each one seemed worse. I refused to stay, so we left. The worst part was that they wouldn't refund us because we had paid through booking .Com. I'm very disappointed and upset that neither the hotel nor booking solved the issue for me.

The main road outside the hotel is terrible. The pavements on both sides of this busy road are dreadful, even for people who are fit and able-bodied. I have mobility issues, but the hotel staff are very helpful and will stop a dolmus. The pool area is accessible to people with mobility issues too, and staff there are helpful. The hotel itself is wonderful, in a stunning location, and the staff respond quickly to any issues. One thing about the pool needs attention: its depth drops suddenly from a few feet to about 7 feet. Marking that clearly would be a simple way to reduce the chance of a child getting into trouble. I have mobility issues and will certainly return to the Manolya.

We always manage to find a few days, several times a year, to take a break at The Manolya Hotel. We never come away disappointed, and it's just right for unwinding. We loved every minute of our July 2025 stay and hope to see the team again soon. The views are stunning in every direction, and the pool has plenty of sun-beds, hammocks, and shades. The pool bar staff quietly keep the area clean and tidy and make sure we have what we need. The sea is shallow and safe, with easy access from steps beside the hotel pool. During the day, the full drinks and cocktail menu and large snack menu mean there's no need to go far. In the evening, several bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Our favourite is The Blue Song next door, with its lovely eating platform over the sea, comprehensive menu, great service, and delicious food. Booking is recommended because it gets packed. Management and employees work together smoothly, with charm and efficiency. The common areas and bedrooms are tastefully decorated, and the beds, bedding, and pillows gave us an excellent night's sleep. There's also coffee and tea making equipment and a mini fridge with treats. Our room cleaner was delightful, hardworking, and always smiling. Breakfast is the best we've ever had: delicious, freshly prepared and replenished, with friendly service in a fabulous indoor or outdoor dining area. There are choices for all cultures and tastes, hot and cold. Another relaxing stay. We love everything about this hotel and its great position near excellent restaurants.

The location was the only good thing about the hotel. The property is dated, and the rooms weren't clean. Poolside service was awful, although the pool itself is very pretty and there's a lot to do nearby.
