Marica's Boutique Hotel

The bed was comfortable, the room was big, and the view was nice. Getting to the beach was easy. I paid very little, so it was an okay place just for sleeping. I didn't expect much. It was just okay.

Please avoid this place. It was dirty and cold, with black mold in the air conditioner, which seemed dangerous to my health. There were sticky white stains on the bed, the bath was dirty and yellow, and there was no hot water. Absolutely horrible. They wouldn't accept a cancellation or give a refund.

Avoid this hotel and don't book it. On arrival, we were given a room that other guests were already sleeping in, and we walked in on them. The next room was dirty and unsafe, nothing like the photos, with broken fixtures, furniture missing, and a TV that didn't work. When we complained, a staff member acted aggressively and unprofessionally and refused to help. The owner told us to leave, falsely saying all the other guests were happy. Other guests told us some of their friends had already left, and that they were stuck because they couldn't find somewhere else at the last minute with children. We left and asked for a refund, but staff refused and lied that we hadn't left the room, even though we'd returned the keys.

A disaster! The information was false, and this place was dirtier than a horror film set. There was nobody at reception, just a guy who appeared to collect payment before check-in. The bar area has been closed for years, and spider webs had built up for years too. Damp was rising, and a sheet covered the couch. What was underneath left people traumatized. The shower handle came off, and the shower head fell onto a child. The pool had shattered pieces inside. This place should be shut down. We booked through booking.com, and it should be shut down too. It's a health risk.
