Fantastic 3 bedroom pool side ground floor apartment 'BE01'; communal pool and resort facilities, Theseus Village on Aphrodite Hills Resort

We first came to Theseus Village 10 years ago and had wanted to return ever since. This time we stayed in the ground floor apartment called.Ansulon, with the main pool right outside our garden. The whole place was spotless, the gardens were kept to a very high standard, and all the pool and other lights worked. The pool guy kept the water pristine and was a lovely man. Our son is nearly 15, and we brought his best Friend along so he’d have company. It was the best holiday we’ve ever had, and we can’t wait to go back next year.

Rented through aphroditie.rentals, cc12 was a fantastic apartment, with plenty of room inside and out. The terrace had sea views and offered shade all day, or sun if that’s what you prefer.

The pool was lovely and everything else was nice, too. I stayed for a week and found it alright, but there wasn’t much space for luggage or toiletries. The wardrobe doors weren’t usable because the beds got in the way.

The staff were friendly and helpful at reception, and housekeeping came once during our stay and was very efficient. We had a great time at Theseus Village. Our three-bedroom ground floor apartment was nicely furnished and decorated, well equipped, and only seconds from the pool. It had a small lawn with loungers, a clothes horse, outdoor table and chairs, and a BBQ that we used on four of our seven evenings. A hedge screened the lawn from the poolside sunbathing area. The kitchen had a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and washing machine, plus all the usual cookware and utensils and more crockery and cutlery than we needed. The master bedroom had a double bed and an ensuite with a bath and shower over it, two sinks and a toilet. The other two bedrooms had twin beds that could easily be pushed together. The second bathroom had a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. In the lounge there was a three-seater sofa, an armchair, a dining table for six, a TV with satellite connection and a hi-fi system. The on-site shop stocked plenty, but prices were very high, so we drove 10 minutes to a local supermarket. We didn’t use the on-site tavern, bar, golf course or football school, as we preferred activities outside the resort. Paphos is about 20 minutes away, and Limassol is 45 minutes in the other direction on the A6 motorway.
