Alkisti City Hotel

We were very disappointed and won’t book here again. Our flights from our country were cancelled after war broke out suddenly, so getting there was physically impossible. This was an emergency outside our control, not a casual change of plans. I understand the hotel has a cancellation policy, but we hoped for some flexibility and basic empathy given the life-threatening circumstances. Management stuck to the policy instead of making an exception for guests in distress. It’s a shame they put profit ahead of basic understanding in such a difficult situation.

After seeing other places in Cyprus, I appreciated this one even more. I stayed twice over two weeks, for my first nights in the country and my last two. The beds were by far the best I had on the trip, and housekeeping was impeccable. It’s a distinctive place, not a cookie-cutter hotel or motel, and it felt quiet and serene. Reception staff were nice, the AC worked great, and all the amenities were close by, including the beach, a 3-5 minute walk away. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and had everything I needed, and the AC worked well. The location is right in the center. I was able to check in very late because they left the key in a box outside. The woman at the front desk was friendly and really helpful with the bus. I enjoyed my stay, and it was well worth the money.

The location is fantastic, and communication with the owners was great. It’s a lovely traditional hotel, comfortable and well priced. I’d definitely stay again.
