Best Western Plus Larco Hotel

I saw three rooms, and every one was shabby, dirty, smelled strongly of mold, and had an unpleasant view. In one, there was visible mold inside the mini fridge. I couldn't stay in a place that felt like a health hazard. Calling this a four star hotel is laughable. The staff were friendly and helpful, but my mother and I paid when we arrived, before seeing the rooms, and were promised an immediate refund. Nearly three weeks later, nothing has been refunded. Best Western should honestly cover our taxi rides too. It was a horrible experience, seriously gross, and I won't stay at a Best Western again.

The room and staff were both lovely, and I can't think of anything negative to say. We only stayed one night before heading to Limassol, and I wish we'd had longer. We got in late and ate at the Bar. My seafood pasta and my wife's Special Omelette were both clearly made fresh and cooked really well. Breakfast was just as good, with plenty of options for us as pescatarian and vegetarian eaters, including soya, almond, and oak milk. I'll keep an eye out for BW in future.

The restaurant was on the small side, and the spa cost extra. Breakfast was decent. The hotel felt new, and our pleasant room had an espresso machine, kettle, and a medium-sized balcony. The outdoor pool was heated to a great 26 degrees.

Emeka at night reception was especially kind. Everyone we met on staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was simple and clean, with a good shower, and breakfast had plenty of variety. There are lots of really good places to eat nearby, and it's a nice walk along the promenade into town. 🚿🍳🚶‍♀️🍽️😊
