Crown Resorts Henipa

The hotel's grounds are actually quite nice, and a couple of the staff were friendly, but most seemed not to like English guests. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and the rooms were filthy. Our toilet seat was broken, and we had to argue with reception to get clean towels and toilet paper. I wouldn't give the food to a stray dog. There's nothing around for miles except a horrible, litter-covered stony beach. This hotel ruined our stay on an otherwise lovely island.

The pool was the only good thing about the hotel. The food was bad, there was no coffee machine in either the room or lobby, and the service was lousy, with no sense of hospitality. Towels were changed only once every three days even though they smelled awful, and they refused to give us extra ones. They seemed to go out of their way to make us feel unwelcome. The TV didn't work and was about the size of a midsize smartphone, so I couldn't watch the World Cup or fall asleep to National Geographic. When my daughter dropped her pacifier under the bed, I discovered where all the dirt in the world was hiding. This is the first time I've written such a long review, because the stay was that terrible.

The staff were nice, and there are two big pools. The hotel itself is quite old, though, and the food was really bad. There were also too many Russians. I'd suggest getting breakfast only, renting a car and spending the day out. Room service was good, just leave 5EUR on the table :)

I stayed in the first room for just a few minutes before walking out to find another hotel. It was filthy, with mould in the bathroom grout and unstitched chair upholstery. The beds felt like a bed of nails, and there was no Wi-Fi in my room, even if I paid for it. My view was the dingy, dirty old highway. They said the other rooms weren't ready because the hotel had only reopened the week before. Frankly, they shouldn't have opened at all. There was no mini-bar fridge either. They offered to move me to a poolside room the next day, but by then I'd found another hotel and told them not to bother. They said it was a 3-star hotel, not a five-star one. I told them they'd be lucky to make 1 star. Don't stay here.
