Krasas Beach Apartment Rentals

I was puzzled by the other reviews, since my husband and I had a lovely week at Krasas Beach Apartments. Before our late evening arrival, they sent clear, detailed instructions for self check-in and getting into the apartment and car park. As a nervous traveller, I really appreciated having all that information. We had a studio suite on the 6th floor with a gorgeous view. It was clean, and the kitchen had plenty of utensils and crockery, plus a working microwave, kettle and stove. The air conditioning worked very well, which we needed in such a hot week. There were socket converters and some printed guides and maps too. Housekeeping came halfway through the week to refresh the place and leave fresh towels. The bathroom was fine, though a shower shelf for my products would have been handy. There was a cupboard under the sink, so it wasn’t a big deal. I did miss having a full length mirror, but I’d still stay here again. The location made the holiday: the beach, lots of restaurants, bars and salons were right nearby. I loved watching the sunrise in the morning and sitting on the balcony at sunset after a day exploring. Noise came through a little, since the rooms aren’t completely soundproof, but I slept just fine.

I had already paid for three nights, but ended up cancelling after spending hours at the airport trying to sort things out. There’s no reception, and the property asked for my credit card details for a deposit when I was at the airport. The woman who seemed to manage the place insulted me, saying, "stay in the airport forever since its non refundable," then hung up and stopped responding. She sent the wrong deposit payment link several times, then told customer service I was refusing to pay. The management was extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming. The poor communication and disregard for guests made the property unacceptable to me.

The service was appalling. When we raised our concerns, the manager was rude, showed no empathy, and the staff were dismissive and unwilling to find any compromise. Management also cut off our electricity. It felt hostile, not hospitable. The noise was another major problem. The listing said the apartment was soundproof, but traffic from the busy main road was unbearable day and night. It was almost impossible to sleep or relax, and the closed windows seemed to do nothing. Our stay at Krasas Beach Apts was extremely disappointing and stressful, the worst experience we’ve had with a property booked through Booking.com. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are plenty of friendlier, quieter places in Larnaca.

The location is a real plus, with a bus stop nearby and plenty of restaurants and bars just steps away. It’s also one of the more affordable apartments in such a great spot, so there’s a bit of a trade-off. The apartment has nearly everything you need, except a microwave. It’s past its prime, though: the furniture is worn and cleanliness and general condition could be better. You can’t fully shut the bathroom window, which means a lot of noise on windy days. The owner wasn’t very communicative, but we had no problems during our stay.
