Leonardo Boutique Hotel Larnaca

My flight was cancelled, so I spent one night here. The staff were very helpful, and when the room temperature wasn’t right, they moved me straight away to one with proper air. It’s a high quality hotel with good services, in a great spot near finikoudes beach if you’re visiting Larnaka.

The gym was in A1 working order and really well equipped, so I went every day. Breakfast was spectacular, with loads to choose from, and I stuck to the healthy options. We had a lovely, very clean twin room and the room service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is just a five minute walk from a lovely sandy beach where we swam daily. We had a fantastic four nights and I’ll be back. Thanks for making it such an enjoyable stay!

Street noise was the biggest problem. At 6:00 AM one morning, a concrete mixer started up outside, so loudly it felt like it was working inside the room. We could hear everything from the street, and the staff didn’t really try to fix the issue. Cleanliness also fell short: there was hair in the room and black stains on the pillows, which was unpleasant. We had to ask for the in-room tea and coffee to be topped up, and the business lounge seemed neglected, with old food and sandwiches and the same drinks throughout. The good parts were the central, convenient location, kind staff who did their best to help, and comfortable rooms. The hotel’s design is fairly standard. Breakfast was fine with the usual sort of selection, though the machine coffee was average and could be better. It’s a well placed hotel, but the noise and lack of upkeep made it hard to enjoy.

General Georg personally welcomed us and took time to answer our questions today, which we appreciated. The interior design is lovely and the location is excellent. We had a warm welcome on arrival, and the breakfast was incredible. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in across 10 years of travel. Highly recommended.
