Nondas Hill Hotel Apartments

There was no lift, no coffee or sugar despite what the listing said, and not even shower gel. The tub had no plug, so it could only be used as a shower. The bed wheels had no brakes, and nobody was at the office when we checked out. The apartment was really old, and the air conditioning was really, really bad. There were more issues too. Not recommended at all.

The airport is conveniently close, so this might work for one night, perhaps for students staying over before their flight home. I wouldn't recommend it for families. It's in a very residential area without infrastructure, and the price feels too high for the quality and amenities. The apartment smelled bad, and the carpet and bed linen weren't fully clean. It seemed a while since the place had been renovated. Hot water took a long time, and we were given just one towel for five people. The food left a lot to be desired. There was no soundproofing, and the windows were single-pane.

The beds were completely worn out, with springs digging into our sides. Everything felt shabby, with dirty, torn curtains and wallpaper, and a ragged plastic sheet hanging from three hooks in the bathroom instead of a shower curtain. There was no cleaning service or equipment for cleaning ourselves. The trash bins right under the windows smelled awful, and garbage trucks made a terrible grinding noise at night, around 3:00-4:00 AM. Several apartments had serious problems. Gas leaked and flared up. One air conditioner sat behind a curtain, so we had to choose between an open window and the cold, or darkness and heat. The other air conditioner was only for heating. If we hadn't paid in advance, we would have run away. This place is disgusting, fit only for free refugee accommodation. If you want to ruin your holiday and your impression of the island, choose this barracks and suffer through it. I don't understand how the local tourism department allows places like this to operate.
