You never quite know what you’ll get with the individual units, since their management varies. Our first stay was in a lovely apartment that the owner had done up nicely, easily a 4-star experience. The second time, a company-managed unit had a long list of problems. The shower barely worked, and the old bathtub, which looked like it was from the 60s, seemed ready to come loose. Most water ran from the tap instead of the shower, leaving us standing in a pool just to wash. It felt like we needed another shower afterward. The staff were friendly and helpful, but they couldn’t do much about the management of each unit. That second stay was a 1-star experience, so averaging the two, I’d give it 3. Good luck!

The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and everything in my room worked. I was in room 137. The rooms and corridors looked worn and could use renovation, and there was an unpleasant, constant noise, perhaps from a pump or ventilator. Breakfast was good apart from the juices, which seemed to be mixed from powder. Service was very good, with friendly and helpful staff. All told, it was a pleasant stay and fair value for the money.

I liked the rooms, and there was a good breakfast selection. The people at reception and breakfast were kind and helpful. My one personal preference would be brighter lighting, or dimmer switches so guests can adjust it. I like a bright room, and the bathroom was the brightest space.

The thin walls were the only real downside for us, since we could hear people talking next door. We spent five nights there, first two in a superior garden-view room and the other three in a superior sea-view room. We asked to upgrade to the sea view, but that didn’t solve the noise. Apart from that, the staff were friendly and the facilities were great, so the stay was almost perfect.
